Salvador Navarro

He began his musical studies in the Banda Primitiva de Llíria. He studied at the conservatories of Valencia and Madrid with professors José Rossell and Francisco Burguesa.

He furthered his studies with Luis Morato in Madrid and with Michael Hoetzel at the Mozarteum in Salzburg.

Postgraduate studies in Business Management and Administration at the Luis Vives Business School and Postgraduate studies in Business Management at EDEM Business School.

As a soloist he has performed with the Orquesta Nacional de España, Orquesta Sinfónica de Asturias, Orquesta Clásica de Madrid, Orquesta de la Comunidad de Madrid, Orquesta de Extremadura, Banda Municipal de Madrid, Orquesta de Granada, Orquesta de Cámara Española, Banda Municipal de La Coruña, Báltic Neopolis Orchestra, Orquesta Sinfónica de Yucatán.

He has performed the concertos for horn and orchestra, 1 and 2 by Richard Strauss, concerto by R. Gliere, Serenade for tenor horn and orchestra by B. Briten, the Konzerstuck for four horns by R. Schumann, concertos by W. A. Mozart. A. Mozart.

He has premiered Oscar Navarro’s horn concerto for horn and orchestra “Conection” and Ferrer Ferran’s “Gjallanhorn” for horn and symphonic band.

He is currently horn soloist in the National Orchestra of Spain.
