Pierre Frapier

Born inFrance, Pierre Frapier (1990) started playing the violin atage6. He graduated fromthe Royal College of Music in London where he also taught violin and chamber music.Laureate of Khatchaturian and ZanuccoliInternationalCompetitions, hehasappeared asasoloist at Wigmore Hall and St.Martins-in-the-Fields,Tel Aviv Opera House,Great Hall ofMoscow Conservatory,Studzinski Hall(USA) and Yerevan Opera House,among others.Heisregularlyinvitedat the Kuhmo Chamber Music Festival (Finland),playingwithhis mentorsand friends:ConstantinBogdanas(Enesco Quartet),Marc Danel (Danel Quartet)and WouterVossen(StorioniTrio).Hewasrecentlyguestconcertmasterfor theOSPA(Spain, 2021)andforMünchnerSymphoniker(Germany, 2022).He has been thecoachandtheon-set hand-double ofthe actorHugh Grantforthe movie “AVery English Scandal”directed byStephen Frears,andhasrecordedDinicu’s Hora Staccatoforthe soundtrack.He is always keen to broaden his musical horizons and his inspirations are eclectic andborderless.
