Festival Paax GNP, in one word, is an Impossible Festival. It is so because it brings together a series of extraordinary qualities that, at first glance, it is impossible for them to coincide:
- Extraordinary soloists from around the world play in the Impossible Orchestra, the orchestra in residence at Festival PAAX GNP.
- An extraordinary musical program composed of three series: the main series, the Dark Side and chamber music.
- A ballet gala featuring new dance stars and a splendid selection of choreographies under the direction of Christopher Wheeldon, one of the most outstanding choreographers of our time.
- The best food and drink of Mexico in a luxury, all-inclusive hotel.
- All of this, in the paradise of the Mexican Caribbean Sea.
Its Artistic Director, Alondra de la Parra, has worked many years to make it possible and thanks to her tenacity, vision and the generous sponsorship of GNP Seguros, the Festival Paax GNP saw the light of day for the first time in 2022 and is here to stay.
In 2025, we will have, as always, Alondra de la Parra as Artistic and Orchestra Director, the Impossible Orchestra with the best musicians in the world, lead dancers from the Royal Ballet and Christopher Wheeldon as resident choreographer.
During 10 days, your senses will be exposed to the most beautiful things in the world. Your ears will hear the best music on the planet. Your lips will taste the best food in Mexico. There is no other place in the world that can bring it all together in such an extraordinary and unique way. This is FESTIVAL PAAX GNP.

What does PAAX mean?
Paax means music in Maya, but also peace in Latin. The festival is music and movement, but music is also understood as peace of the human being with the world, with society, and with themselves. Music unites us with what is different, it makes us diverse, plural, better.

The Paax GNP Festival is an experience in which creativity and talent take us on a journey that spreads the excitement of life through the performing arts seen in a revolutionary way: exceptional talent, masterpieces, artistic richness and variety, and creative innovation in one of the most spectacular places in the world: Xcaret, Mexico.

The best of the performing arts in the Mexican Caribbean, organized by ELEKIN ARTS, with the vision of Alondra de la Parra as Artistic Director and the support of GNP Seguros, making this festival one of the most prestigious classical music events in the world.
